Garage Door
A garage door is the large overhead door that closes a garage bay, together with its tracks, springs and opener. In the records we hold the term covers both a replacement of the door and the first installation on a new garage.

About Garage Door
The drawings show the opening size, the headroom above it, the track layout and how the door is anchored to the surrounding framing. Scope is usually driven by the width of the opening and by whether the wall above it has to carry the weight of the door and its tracks. Where an opening is widened, the header and the framing around it change with it.
