Plumbing
Plumbing is the system of pipes, fixtures and fittings that brings water into a building and takes waste out. In the records we hold the term covers supply and drain lines, the fixtures they serve, and the work of altering or extending them.

About Plumbing
Plumbing drawings show the fixture layout, the supply and drain routes, the venting, and the points where the building connects to the water and sewer. Scope is driven by how far the fixtures move, since a replacement in place reuses the existing rough-in while a move opens the wall and floor. Plumbing records commonly appear with remodel, drywall and shower headings.
FLORIDA PERMIT DATA
In the records
"plumbing" appears in 34,879 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.
A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
