About Porch

Porch drawings show the floor framing or slab, the columns, the roof, how the structure ties into the house wall, and the stair and guard details. Scope tends to turn on whether the porch is being rebuilt in place or extended, and on whether it is screened. Porch records often carry deck, lanai and addition headings as well.

FLORIDA PERMIT DATA

In the records

"porch" appears in 14,848 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.

A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
