About Code Compliance
A compliance record usually begins with the condition as found and sets out the repairs, replacements or removals needed to resolve it. Scope is driven by the violation itself, so it can range from a single repair to a partial demolition and rebuild. Code compliance records commonly appear with after the fact, demolition and screen enclosure headings.
FLORIDA PERMIT DATA
In the records
"code compliance" appears in 1,729 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.
A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
