Driveway
A driveway is the paved surface that carries vehicles from the street to a parking space, a garage or a building entrance. In the records we hold the term covers the paving, its base, and the apron or culvert where it meets the street.

About Driveway
A site plan shows the driveway's width and alignment, the turning path into the garage or lot, the base and surface material, and the drainage across it. Scope is driven by the vehicles it serves and by the slope and the connection at the street. Driveway records commonly appear with concrete, slab and garage headings.
FLORIDA PERMIT DATA
In the records
"driveway" appears in 17,662 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.
A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
