Facade
A facade is the exterior face of a building, including its cladding, its openings and the elements applied to it. In the records we hold the term covers work that changes how the building presents to the street.

About Facade
Facade drawings are elevations: they show the materials, the joint and panel layout, the openings, and the signs or awnings attached to the face. Scope is driven by how much of the face is reworked, since a repaint and a re-cladding reach very different parts of the assembly. Facade records commonly appear with stucco, storefront and wall sign headings.
FLORIDA PERMIT DATA
In the records
"facade" appears in 629 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.
A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
