Interior Demolition

Interior demolition is the strip-out of the inside of a building, removing finishes, partitions and sometimes services while the structure stays. In the records we hold the term covers what comes out and how the space is left for the next phase.

About Interior Demolition

An interior demolition plan shows what is removed, what stays, and the protection for the parts of the building that remain in use. Scope is usually set by how much of the interior goes, since a partial strip-out has to keep exits and services working. Interior demolition records commonly appear with demolition, buildout and remodel headings.

FLORIDA PERMIT DATA

In the records

"interior demolition" appears in 956 matching permits in the Florida records we analyzed.

A permit can match more than one term, so these counts are not additive and adding two of them together overstates the total.
